Made it to Brussels

We arrived in Brussels safely this morning. Annie is doing well with Auntie Amber or as she's been calling her Daddy Amber. Here is a picture of her working on a calendar we gave her to keep track of the days we'd be gone. We plan to do some sight seeing today and then on to Africa tomorrow morning. We are getting anxious.

You made it! Persistence pays!
Speaking of which, Okla. reached a record of 18 Consecutive days of rain! We also reached the 10th rainiest Jan. to June period in our history. Hard to believe there were 9 others that had more rain.
Amber called to say, "Hi!" We could hear the girls in the background. She asked Annie if she wanted to talk to Grandma..."I'm PLAY-ing!" So, we will talk to her later...maybe!
Be safe.
Love,
Dad

I am sooooo thinking of you. My husband and I are in the process of adopting from Liberia with AFAA; hoping for siblings, too. Thanks for setting up the blog. I check up on you guys several times a week :o) It helps endure the endless waiting.
Hope all goes well for you. Can't wait to hear and see more!

You know you're a good parent when... Your child is too happy and too busy to give you the time of day. Way to go Scott and Sue!
We are thinking of you and praying for your safe and very eventful return.
Love,
Angela and David
P.S. Max and Emma are very interested in the story of your expanding family.

Checking in with my kids. We're awaiting the next post... Cecily wants to know what you had for lunch. Reece wants to know what it's like in Africa. Take notes and report back!

What a perfect birthday for Annie. There was a greater plan to make July 1 the greatest day of all, the most celebrated in your family!

Sending our love,
The Petersons
