Worth the Wait...

Finally made it to Monrovia and the wait was worth every painstaking minute.

We entered the house and before we could ID a single child, Abegail had her arms around her new mommy! It was an amazing moment that touched us. Emmanuel was sleeping. So we woke him up to enjoy an equally warm hug.

Here are a few of the first photos of our meeting.

We only stayed for 20 minutes and had to let the children go to bed. We'll be back with them in the morning.

Love to you all.

And Happy Birthday Annie!! Mommy, Daddy, Abegail, and Emmanuel will all be home soon! And Abegail remembered your name and is anxious to meet you!

Hallelujah! What a day you have had. Now July 1st is going to be your favorite holiday, Sue, not the Fourth, because it is Annie's birthday, and the anniversary of your first meeting with Abegal and Emmanuel. I was so worried that your plane would get there late or the bureaucracy would keep you from seeing the kids today, especially since verything else on this trip so far has gone so well! But the pictures are proof that this part, at least, went perfectly. Can't wait to see what you post tomorrow, and can't wait to see you all again at home!!! Love to all,
Nancy

Read your blog. Curt and I are as excited as the grandparents. We can hardly wait to meet them. They are beautiful children. Congratulations.
The pictures of Annie are beautiful. She is such a happy little girl. Abegail and Emmanuel are going to be a great addition to your family.

We're SPEECHLESS!
But the feelings run deep!
What a charming greeting from Abagail. Scott's son looks so big and ready to play. Such beautiful children.
We are so eager to meet the family. We received so many nice comments from our Church School class, so we have sent them an e-mail with your blog link.
Enjoy! Then bring them home!

Crying tears of joy and relief with you. Watching the the pains of this child-birth melt away. Let the wonderful journey really begin now, with a new spirit. Your faith and commitment teaches me a fresh perspective on life and family. I'm thrilled for you and so happy you've shared this moment with up to the minute coverage.

Love seeing the hugs. Sending you mine!
