Abegail Lets Her Hair Down

Here is a photo of what I think is a beautiful girl without her braids. But Abegail refuses to wear her hair without any ponies. We are doing a little better. Scott and I are getting used to the chaos, the continuous Mommy, Mommy, Daddy, Daddy. It's been an adjustment but we are getting there, all learning together. Sending them to the neighbors also helps.

PHEW! I was starting to get a little worried because there had been nothing on the blog for what seemed to me like ages! Glad it was just a power outage, she says calmly while sitting in an airconditioned house. drinking ice tea and watching TV. Abegail, you look adorable with your hair 'down' and you remind me of an Olympic runner I saw in one of my Lifetime movies recently. Annie, I know you are going to get that 'potty power' soon because you won't want to be missing the things that Abegail and Eman come home talking about. I know there are lots of adjustments for all of you, but it looks to me like you are doing just fine. Eman, I still get excited when I see a convertible as we don't have many here where we sometimes get twelve feet of snow in a few days in the winter. I can't wait to hug you all on September 6th!!!
Love to all,

Hi, just wondering if the recent storms had the kids scared at all? I know I was and I'm born and raised here.

Luckily both storms hit in the middle of the night and the kids were already sleeping. Once they are (finally)'s tough to get them up!

You could read a book in the dark with all the lightning this weekend!
